Int’l Women’s C’ship: Nepal and Myanmar locking horns for title today

Nepal and Myanmar are locking their horns for the title of the Four Nations International Women’s Championship in Kathmandu today.
The highly anticipated final match will kick off at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwar, at 6:00 PM.

The Nepali team, buoyed by the prospect of playing a final on home ground for the second time in five months, will enter the match with high morale.
It aims to secure victory against Myanmar, who is ranked 55th in the world, a significant leap above Nepal’s 103rd position in the FIFA rankings.
Myanmar, however, is equally determined to claim the title, setting the stage for a fierce contest. Notably, the two teams drew 2-2 in their previous encounter during the group stage of the championship, promising an exciting rematch.
Both teams have remained undefeated throughout the championship, fueling their ambition to maintain their winning streak and clinch the trophy.
This match will be the fourth meeting between Nepal and Myanmar, with Nepal yet to secure a win against its opponent.
This evening, Nepal seeks to break this trend on their home ground, while Myanmar aims to continue their winning streak.
